Charles R. Hanes, II, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Hanes, board-certified gynecologist, is the clinic’s
director. He has specialized in the field of urogynecology
since 1998. “I chose to focus on this field because it’s very
gratifying,” says Dr. Hanes. “It’s just as gratifying as
delivering babies because it really changes lives. Treatments
for urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse have a very high
success rate and so much can be done to improve a patient’s
quality of life.”

Cheryl Perry, RN,
Biofeedback Specialist
Cheryl Perry, coordinator of the Continence Center of
Mobile, is a registered nurse and trained biofeedback
specialist. She has worked in the women’s healthcare field for
10 years. Cheryl uses biofeedback to teach her patients how to
correctly use the pelvic floor muscles. Through this exercise,
better known as “kegels”, the patients can achieve significant
improvements in their bladder incontinence.
