Clinical
Research Participation Opportunities
As part of our commitment to specialized patient
care, Mobile Ob-Gyn, P.C. has offered clinical
trial opportunities to our patients since 2004. We feel
that participation in research trials benefits our patients and
others through the development of improved treatments. Our
volunteers are closely monitored and receive high quality care
that may include free examinations, diagnostic and laboratory
tests and travel-related reimbursements.
All of our physicians are trained in The Protection of Research
Subjects and Good Clinical Practices, and our Research Nurse is
certified in women's health and clinical research. Both an
Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) oversee each drug-company-sponsored trial.
The following clinical research trials are currently available
for volunteer enrollment:
* Loss of Sexual Desire (premenopausal)
* Overactive Bladder
* Osteoporosis (postmenopausal)
